AirFly LatencyUpdated 2 months ago

Bluetooth latency is never entirely zero, but the AirFly typically maintains a low latency of about 30 milliseconds, which is virtually unnoticeable when watching movies or listening to music.

However, noticeable delays can occur if the 3.5mm audio jack on the source device outputs a high-powered signal. This is more common with musical equipment like amplifiers or electric guitars but can happen with any audio port.

If this is the case, try these steps to troubleshoot:

Lower the Output Volume: Reduce the volume on the source device to decrease the signal strength being sent through the 3.5mm jack. This can help mitigate latency issues.

Check Source Device Settings: Some devices, especially audio equipment or gaming consoles, may have settings to adjust output levels. Switching to a lower gain or output mode can help.

Test Different Source Devices: If latency persists, try the AirFly with other devices to identify whether the source audio jack is the main issue.

If you’ve already tried the troubleshooting steps and the issue persists, we recommend requesting a return or replacement through the retailer, as the product may be defective. However, if the AirFly was purchased new within the last two years from us or an authorized reseller but you’re outside of the return window, we’d be happy to assist you with a warranty claim directly from our side. 😊
